After lots of customer requests for more silver jewellery, the team at Eclectic Eccentricity have launched the Silvery Snippets range – a collection of charm jewellery in sterling silver. And in perfect time for Summer, each of the quirky pieces have been inspired by Summer time. Designer Lucy Averill said: ‘I was keen to invoke a feeling of traditional British holidays and past times, with a nod to some coy romantic pieces.’
Along with a quirky touch, each piece is reminiscent of summer time: spending long afternoons in the countryside on an old-fashioned bicycle, or taking in all the fun of the fair on a traditional carousel. She was keen to invoke a feeling of traditional British holidays and past times. Both the envelope necklace and the love spinner have secret declarations of love, which only the wearer can discover.
Lucy has thoroughly enjoyed working on the beginnings of this collection, working with traditional silver charms was a new direction. Her favourite piece is the carousel, as the merry go round was always her favourite ride as a child.
Many of the pieces have an interactive element; envelopes you can open to reveal love notes, spinning carousels and ornate disks, which spin to reveal a secret message. Within the collection you’ll find everything from a carousel, an old-fashioned bicycle to a miniature Eiffel Tower, ranging from around £20 to £40.
